Andi Lew – Live a greater quality of life, naturally.

Categories: Coaching, Inspiration

Andi’s life’s work and passion is to help others live a greater quality of life, naturally.

I’ve been teaching wellness for three decades and in that time, I’ve reached people across American and Australian audiences with what’s possible when you overcome adversity or how healing can happen when you give your body the right environment. The byproduct may be slowing ageing and more vitality. I have written 8 books and educating audiences through presenting, coaching and writing is my calling.

Andi is sharing what the word “empower” means to her with The Corporate Escapists.

As a successful entrepreneur please share your viewpoint if you believe that entrepreneurs are born or made?

We are all called to do something that inspires us, if only we had the courage to admit it and the support to carry it out.

People want to buy from people who are working in their calling and passion. We buy that passion. We don’t buy products and services. We like to invest in a little of you when you have the courage to create a business that’s your inspired destiny.

We are born creators but sometimes someone or something stopped us from believing we should be doing that vocation. The stigmas and narratives or fears hold us back from who we are truly meant to be and I help coach you to being that magic to fruition.

Nelson Mandela once quoted – ‘I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.’  What has been one fear you have overcome?

He also said “It is our light, not our darkness, that inost frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant,  gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?” We are born to be everything we ever dreamed and desired to be.

Tell us what the word “empower” means to you?

Allowing us to have our birth right to live out our inspired destiny. When you can coach someone to find that calling and figure out for themselves, the steps they need to take to do that, you’ll empower people to better serve others, and themselves.

What has been one of the biggest business ideas you have had and how did you have the courage to implement it?

My first book was published but I had no control over the outcome. The publisher went through some issues with distribution and my hard work in publicity was lost because my fans couldn’t find my book in stores.

The best thing I did was go on to self-publishing my next 7 books and new affirmation deck. I’ve published and authored 8 other projects and even though it was terrifying and costly, I knew it had to be done because my area of expertise is marketing through PR and sales. It hasn’t stopped growing and my courage came from my passion to reach more people, so this was the solution for me. I’d still consider going with a publisher now, but it’s like any relationship. You need to be certain they’re right for you.

Running your own business can be scary.  Success requires moments of courage to push through to the next level, please tell us one of the moments you have had to push through to take your business to the next level?

It’s right now! I’m in the throes of expanding to getting my books translated into other languages and creating audible versions

Tell us what attributes you feel make a good leader in business today?

My intentions are pure. I want more for you. It makes me happy to know I’ve served humanity ti help them reach their full potential through a holistic approach of relationships with others, themselves, their wellbeing, and their goals and aspirations.

What is your favourite quote about empowerment?

Your health is your wealth so it’s the one from the guy who invented the light bulb; Thomas Edison. He said, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine. He will rather educate his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start their own business?

Come and Coach with me.

What would be one (1) question you would you ask the person who most inspires you?  Also, share with us about this person and why they inspire you?

Everyone inspires me. We all show strength and vulnerability and we all have the same desires: to love and be loved. I’d ask anyone to tell me what inspires them. That’s what moves us to do more and be more.
