Bracha is sharing what the word “empower” means to her with The Corporate Escapists.

As a successful entrepreneur please share your viewpoint if you believe that entrepreneurs are born or made?

Some entrepreneurs are probably born with genes that propel them toward business. Others become successful entrepreneurs because of circumstances in their lives. In both cases, great efforts are important, but the efforts still need to be blessed for success to develop.

Nelson Mandela once quoted – ‘I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.’  What has been one fear you have overcome?

I’ve largely overcome the fear of scarcity – the sense that there isn’t enough – of whatever – to go around. Now I embrace the great blessing of abundance, and that has changed my entire perspective on life and made it a very joyful one.

Tell us what the word “empower” means to you?

To empower is to fill with helpful energy.

What has been one of the biggest business ideas you have had and how did you have the courage to implement it?

During the pandemic, as my business went totally online, I had a blast, sitting at my desk, blasting myself all over the world, giving Zoom presentations. I visited some continents I’d never been to before this way – like Australia and Africa. This experience has given me the courage to talk with anybody – as I loved connecting with everybody I met. What a joy it has been to discover how similar we all are as spiritual beings!

Running your own business can be scary.  Success requires moments of courage to push through to the next level, please tell us one of the moments you have had to push through to take your business to the next level?

The pandemic helped me to push through to the next level and really spread out my messages widely into the world. I’m kinda shy in person, so being behind a computer screen has actually been extremely helpful to me as a friendly introvert.

Tell us what attributes you feel make a good leader in business today?

A good leader in business today needs to think outside the box – being creative – and always open to getting feedback and learning more. It is also helpful for a good business leader to come from a mindset of abundance rather than scarcity, not to feel a sense of competition with other businesses, but for look for ways to collaborate and grow. A good leader inspires others to do good things too.

What is your favourite quote about empowerment?

Wayne Dyer said, “Success is an inside job.”

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start their own business?

Enjoy the process! Spend your time doing those things you enjoy the most about it, and you’ll never burn out or waste time – as you will be enjoying all of it!

What would be one (1) question you would you ask the person who most inspires you?  Also, share with us about this person and why they inspire you?

I would ask Rachel who we learn about in the Bible, how she was able to rise to a mindset of abundance rather than scarcity, when she gave the secret code words to her sister, Leah, who ended up marrying Rachel’s betrothed. What techniques did she use to quickly, effectively, and heroically overcome jealousy, right then and there, in those challenging moments?
