Approaching 40, I needed to make uncomfortable more comfortable, tried lots of active options which worked in the moment but craved fun, in the moment, no hesitation, I knew what I needed to do but it wasn’t until I raised my Emotional intelligence that doing so became easier! And now I help others do the same.
Oprah once quoted ‘You are where you are in your life, based on what you believe. If you’re not looking at the shadows, what is subconsciously telling yourself you’re not good enough, not worthy enough, not smart enough…you’re not enough, you end up acting out of THAT belief system, and not of what you want to be the truest for yourself.””. How important is it to you to have the belief within ones self?

It’s vital. I had a massive fear of embarrassment but I didn’t know this until I had felt I had lost fun and wanted to find it again. I even had breast augmentation surgery hoping it would help me BE fun. But I didn’t believe it… So it didn’t work.

Tell us what the word “Entrepreneur” means to you?

How has the life of being an entrepreneur, changed you?

Share you thoughts on the importance of business owners to be a leader in their own life and ensure they have a work/life balance?

Walk your talk. Telling my eldest daughter to keep playing with her sister was an uphill battle as when I was a preteen, I felt the pressure of being first born too. After I raised my Emotional Intelligence, I became FUN. So she heard me and started to play again.
What is your favourite quote about “following your dreams”?

What advice would you give to anyone wanting to start their own business?

Find something you are passionate about, that you love to do so much, it doesn’t feel like work. Creating a business that rewards you in heartfelt ways, is so much more rewarding than a job. And that is why you put in the work required to make it a success.
