About our Guest, Philip

The founder of Health, Wellbeing & Mindset, I am Phil Charlton a Behavioural Change Specialist dedicated to the Wellbeing of each person I coach and mentor.

My Journey to a happy healthier lighter body and life started 2 years ago, I had a big weight problem. I was advised by my doctor to reduce weight, I was pushing up to 100KG (220lb). I had high blood pressure high cholesterol and feeling very uncomfortable in my clothes with no energy. I was living the good life great food and wine and my body was silently suffering. I was not a fan of diets as they had not worked well in the past for me.

I started doing research and found that by moving the body constantly you will burn up energy. More movement was what I needed. I was sitting most of the day and evening. Lazy. I also needed to Reduce the sugar intake as well, lots of cakes and buns and other foods full of sugar combined with no exercise and BINGO overweight. Not a good look or feel. I learnt to improve my diet by including eating a minimum of 5 vegetables and 2 fruits with a balance of cereals and proteins, every day. With a minimum of 2 litres of water each day, especially at meal times. The best part was the food I was buying came from the supermarket, so nothing special. It is everyday foods which you are already buying. I also incorporate walking into my day, starting slow and now averaging 12000 steps everyday.

I have been coaching, mentoring and training people for over 35 years to reach their “WHY in Their Life”. I am now coaching people to change habits to reduce that unwanted weight and waistline. Coming from a nursing and military background where I developed my passion in guiding people to a better life while under my care. Having coached, mentored and instructed military members and civilian colleagues to reach their potential, in their careers, improved health and personal wellbeing.

My passion in life is using my life skills and knowledge that I have to bring out that inner desire you have. To do this you must DREAM BIG to achieve BIG RESULTS. If I can do it YOU CAN TOO! I am LIVING MY DREAM. I am HAPPY, HEALTHY, WEALTHY & FIT PERSON. I am doing what I love and that is inspiring people to follow their DREAMS.
